A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Casa Juglar translates into “The house of the minstrel” and we named it such as the original finca was owned by a wizened old Spaniard who earned his crust by busking on his guitar at the local bars and restaurants. The house in his day was “casa guitara”

Benissa has become much more tourist-friendly with new supermarkets etc., but remains basically a Spanish town. Most locals do not speak English, but as a guide book says if you “smile, point and tip” you can usually make yourself understood.

 

ENJOY YOUR TRIP
 

This is a brief outline of what is what in the house and around and about. It is not meant as a book of rules, but hopefully helpful so you do not spend your entire holiday finding out how the dishwasher works, where the supermarket is or searching for a decent restaurant or beach.

PERFECTLY SECLUDED
 

It is a very quiet and secluded house which comfortably accommodates eight adults. A car is a must, although it is only a short walk into the lovely town of Benissa.

​

When you land at the airport, call the ascars car park office on +34965685200  for the minibus to collect you and take you to the car.
